In John 20:21, Jesus said to His disciples, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” Every follower of Jesus has been sent by Jesus into the world for a purpose. Not just vocational ministers, but those in business, social work, creative industries, economics, government, education, stay at home parents, etc. When you invest into Westgate Christian University, you aren’t just supporting an university, you are investing into the call of God on people’s lives. You are investing into their spiritual formation. You are helping equip the people of God for the work of the ministry so the Church can fulfill the mission of God in the world (Ephesians 4:11-13).
